At first they considered taking a player's whole life as the subject, as in My Life My Love: Boku no Yume: Watashi no Negai (1991, Banpresto), but because Hiroshi Tanibuchi and other development staff were called away to help with Jikkyou World Soccer, which another team was making at the time, it was decided to end the game at the point where the player reaches the first team.
