The Goonies — stories left

The same year it was ported to the PC-8801 and the X1, and in 1987 the arcade version Vs. The Goonies ran in North America as one of 1 titles for the Nintendo VS. System.

The game book Bishoku Club Bakage Senka Gaiden: Nazo no Game Makyo 3 (2002, Kill Time Communication) gave it a personal rating of 65 out of 100. Comparing it with the Family Computer version, it rated the game positively, saying "the content is a little different, but it is just as much fun to play".

Game ni Natta Eiga-tachi, published by Sansai Books (2008-5, ISBN 4-86199-114-5), contains a statement that "the MSX version is a port of the overseas personal computer version", and some similarity can be seen in the screen layout as well, but the player character the player controls and the game content differ between the overseas version and the MSX version.

These Japanese versions of The Goonies were not released in the United States, but in 1986 the arcade version Vs. The Goonies, based on the Family Computer version, ran on the Nintendo VS. System (this one did not run in Japan).

In Konami Wai Wai World, the mobile phone app port, the character does not appear, having been replaced by Upa from Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa and by stage backgrounds to match.

The theme "The Goonies 'R' Good Enough" by Cyndi Lauper, featured in the beginning of the Famicom title and its sequel, was remixed by Tomoyuki Uchida for Pop n' Music 10, from Konami's Bemani Series.
